- Greater overall strength than stock crankcases, especially in the front motor mount, an important consideration in high performance applications
- All S&S® Twin Cam style crankcases use strong, dependable Timken® style sprocket shaft bearings to stand up to the most demanding applications
- Available stock bore or 4-1/8” bore and natural aluminum or black powder-coated finish
- All passages between the crankcase cam support plate are O-ring sealed
- Compatible with stock components. Use stock oil pump, cam support plate, gear cover and Timken® style sprocket shaft bearings, etc.
- Cam chest has clearance for up to .675” lift cams
- Includes the new S&S® Twin Cam style crankcase breather valve designed to eliminate oil carry over and oil scavenging problems associated with Twin Cam engines
- Fits 99-06 Twin Cam (exc. 2006 Dyna)
Note: Due to changes in the design of S&S® crankcases for 99-06 Big Twin models, a special oil line installation kit is required. The kit for Dyna models includes oil lines and a special transmission top cover. The kit for FL models may be used with the stock transmission top cover.
