"Shawmut Hills is a great place to buy all kinds of fun things and i've never had a problem until I took my 80 raptor and 90cc Yamaha dirt bike in to be tuned and serviced. My father and I took them both in as I said and they promptly helped us with checking them in and etc. It was Friday I think and the staff told us it would be done by the weekend and well now its Saturday and my father and I went to pick them up. It is true that we did not call ahead but when we got there They had not installed the new battery they ordered for the quad they did not have the new starter for the bike (they told us that they had to reorder it and the man did not no why this was) so frustrated we started back home on the 20-25 minute drive back home empty handed. As we did my father told me that he had called/been called by them and he told them that it wasn’t giving out much power and they told him that it seemed Fine. He told them this on two different equations.
I do not know what will turn out but just to let every one know that I am not giving any bad report on Shawmut Hills at all I am only questioning the diligence of the service department. Thank you

"I have purchased motorcycles at various locations over the years and I have never been so impressed with a dealership as I am with Shawmut Hills. The sales person, Greg Johns,
was very friendly and helpful and not high pressured. Shawmut Hills beat everyone else's price on the bike, the cost of the accessories and having the dealership install them on the bike. The accessories (Kate) and staff spend hours with me, answering questions and helping me pick the right accessories. The service department was great. Mike in finance was excellent. From the moment I walked in Shawmut Hills, they rolled out the red carpet and continued the professional-personal customer care even after the sale. I would NEVER shop anywhere other than at Shawmut Hills after this positive experience. "I just purchased a 2007 SV650 motorcycle from Ben Buerma. He was a very good salesman, he took the time to discuss my options, let me sit on a few bikes, even talk to me and find out what my needs were, as a beginner rider I really apprecaited that.
I think I might have accidently mislead him about my experience I was even more impressed he cared and concerned to offer someone to deliver the bike to my house the day I picked it up. So far I have yet to be disappointed.
Ben did a great job and I look to come to Shawmut Hills again in my future purchases and riding needs. I will personally direct my friends there for anything they need as well."

" We came to Shawmutt Hills looking for a new lawn mower. The first persn we talked to was Sam Cooley. I noticed he was the one my family has always bought stuff from. Anyway, they dont make Honda Riders anymore so we were about to leave, insted he talked about the experiences he has had with other mowers. We then left after talking for awhile and my wife commented on how kind he was to us and that he did not shove a product down my neck. "As a woman, I have personally received some pretty shabby treatment from automotive dealerships. Therefore I had some reservations about going to the motorcycle dealership to purchase my first bike (a used 250cc Honda Reflex). I need not have worried. Shawmut Hills is not just a good place to buy a bike, but it's also a good place to visit, as well. They treated me with respect and were extremely helpful in my decision-making process as a first time bike owner. I can also count on help from their friendly and knowledgeable sales staff to help me find just what I want from their excellent selection of women's gear.
If I want to just go in just to check out the bikes that have come into their (very) large pre-owned area, I feel welcome to wander around, peer at, and ask questions about anything they have on the floor without feeling as if I am an inconvenience. In spite of the fact that they do a brisk sales business, they offer personal attention to each customer.
Shawmut Hills reminds me of the cycle shop experience I remember when I tagged along with my father as a child: Friendly, knowledgeable staff and customers who like to talk about bikes and riding, lots of great gear to check out, and plenty of new and used bikes to see."

"I live on the east side of the state and visited Shawmut to look at the extensive selection of used motorcycles. I was really impressed with the store overall.
I purchased a riding jacket and gloves. I was very impressed with Shawmut's prices. Both items were reduced 20% from regular price. My husband ended up buying the same gloves that I purchased at Shawmut, only his cost $18 more at a metro-Detroit dealer.
The sales staff was very helpful and very patient.
I will definitely return to Shawmut when I am in the Grand Rapids area in the future.
